… it’s a wonderful town!
Here I am, in great big New York City! (Staying in a suburb, but still!)
So there is every possibility that you actually might be hearing from me more on this blog! Here’s hoping.

Hi everyone, this is Chantelle (Constable, who else?) with a “report” on the progress of my upcoming album, “The Summer Night.”
The album is still in the planning stage, and actual dates and facts (such as accompanying musicians) are still up in the air… but have patience! The album will be recorded and released, Lord willing and the creek don’t rise!
I can promise you swinging jazz arrangments, and great songs such as the “title” track, “Blame it on the Summer Night,” from the musical Rags, “Paris is a Lonely Town,” orginally sung by Judy Garland in “Gay Purree,” and popular ballads such as “Blame it on my Youth” and “The Nearness of You.”
As I am hoping to temporarily relocate to New York City this fall, the recording may very well take place there. All I can say for now is… stay tuned!
Thank-you,
Chantelle
